We are losing the war on terror
In what may be news to middle America and maybe some of the dimmest bulbs in the Bush Administration chandelier, we are officially losing the war on terror:

Basically terror attacks have tripled since 2003. The Hawks in the Administration claim the number is that high only because they are spending more resources monitoring such attacks. But all you need to do is flick on BBC World or CNN International to see the constant news of attacks, assasinations, and bombings.
It seems to me that the War on Terror is starting to go the way of the so-called War on Drugs. Spend billions to fight an issue that fundamentally cannot be won on a tactical level, only a social one.
See, how can you fight a war when the opponent hides behind idealogy? We all know tha Bin Laden and Zarqawi are nothing more than cold blooded killers at best, and ruthless money-men at worst, but they make their followers believe they are following the word of Allah. You can’t fight this type of zealism with satelites, fighter jets, and cruise missles.
But we shovel more money, more beaurocrats, and more policy at the War on Terror, yet see the amount, and the voracity of attacks increase threefold!
