Is it possible to like Bill Gates the man, but hate the company he built and essentially stands for?

I’m a Linux man, I love Linux. My desktops are Linux. My home media server is Linux. The server this site sits on runs Linux. And if I had the time/money, my PDA would run Linux too.

Yes I hate M$, but I have to admit I do think Bill Gates is a pretty cool guy. My feelings come courtesy of a buddy of mine named Jimbo. Jimbo used to work as a bellhop for a major hotel chain. About 10 years ago Jim is manning the desks when Mr. Gates comes strolling in. Gates, carrying his own bags, had just finished parking his own rental car, a boring Ford of some sort. Even though he was worth billions by that point, he still felt a need to be real, in a way.

You have to respect that in a man. If I even become a millionaire, christ I’ll probably turn into Gordan Gecko.

So Mr. Gates can add yet another cool thing to my list, he’s travelled to my favorite place in the whole world, the Turkish Coast.

If you’ve never been, you’ve missed out quite a bit! Turkey has that unspoilt beauty you know will be completely ruined by developers in less than a decade. Wonder beaches, super friendly people, and great food.

Now if they could only get rid of all the Aussies, then it would be perfect! :)
