Why I 86'd my blog

Recently a friend asked me why I dumped my blog, which I've maintained for a number of years, in exchange for using posterous. Funny thing, time. When I was single, I could stay up all night and Quake or write bad code that I would re-write later. Now I'm married, have a son, a fairly miserable job, and what little free time I do have I dedicate to nsyght.com.

Basically, posterous seems to be a big time saver for me. I can post to twitter, flickr, and facebook individually using posterous, or collectively to all three. The value for me is time saving, but also have a nice tidy place to track everything independent of any one platform.

Eventually I'll migrate my old posts to posterous, but for now onwards and upwards!
